Some of you may have seen this article and some of you haven't. This article I would consider appropriate for the blogosphere and maybe some of you.
Yeah its not much of a post but I thought this article was important.

So wait...call me dumb but does this mean you can't have a blog where you don't reveal your name? Or did I read the article wrong? That's kind of lame. Aren't there a lot of those out there right now?
Now beying a nuisance and flaming people is another thing entirely. Am I reading this right?

Suppose that means you're going to have to stop that anonymous triple X rated blog you've got going.
I need more of this from you...what's happening in your mind lately?

Elaina,
I believe that you can have a blog and say whatever you like about "another" person, just as long as you reveal your name in the blog or some type of identification of who you are.
Kathi,
Triple X rated blog?????? Please point this blog out to me, since I need to start charging folks for going there......as far as my mind, Im still pondering where the XXX thing came from? Seriously, just busy with life and tweaking my business for certain things. I also wanted to leave my post on the General's letter up for the week.

You know what, fine me, put me in jail, but I'm gonna talk about what I want to talk about. If someone is annoyed by what I talk about, they shoud shove it!

No--I think it has more to do with slandering someone's name or causing them to have a bad reputation without their knowledge. As long as you have a semi-anonymous --but 'actual' name and identity, then you can do this.
This wasn't about cyber stalking though. This was just 'talking bad about someone'.
This stemmed from that blog that a politician wrote about another. He basically trashed this guy's reputation---and revealing a whole lot about him. They couldn't do a thing about it, because he was under 'anonymous'. So now they are trying to prevent total anonymity from slandering someone's name.
Great article though. Very interesting.

I heard about this a few weeks ago and I started to really think about it. How in the hell are they going to enforce this? It'll be just like a speeding ticket, 90% of the US speeds (The other 10% drives infront of me in the fast lane when I'm late for work), so they'll only catch a certain amount and the rest will go on annoying the monkey nuts off the rest of us.
I can't wait to see the first conviction on this, you know it'll hit the news.
Annoy is such a loose term. Someone could be annoyed that I used the letter "E" 49 times in this comment. Does that count as a punishable offense?

Deb,
Yeah I know, several folks that I have dialogue with concerning this article kept calling it the Cyberstalking article, so I coined it that as well.
Kyu,
I am now going to report you to the CYBERTSTALKING COMMISSION, I have warned you in the past about using the letter E so many times in my comments and I have had enough, NO SOUP FOR YOU!!! And leave us 90 percenters alone!!

Smiles,
Oh, NO SOUP FOR YOU EITHER!!!

I was hoping to come up with some funny come back, but all I can do is laugh. I love Seinfeld.
